Nigerian music superstar Davido has congratulated Tems on her second Grammy Award win, but not everyone is impressed. Tems took home the award for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards, beating out other notable artists including Davido himself.
Davido took to social media to celebrate Tems’ win, tweeting, “Congratulations to my one and only ! @chrisbrown ! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you!”
This sparked a flurry of comments, with some users praising Davido for being a good sport and congratulating Tems despite not winning himself. Others, however, were more critical, suggesting that Davido was only congratulating Tems to save face.
