The Democratic Party’s nominee for president, Vice President Kamala Harris, has received the endorsement of American music sensation Ariana Grande.
This follows the announcement on Sunday that President Joe Biden would not be seeking reelection as the Democratic Party’s nominee in favor of his vice, Senator Harris.
Voter registration for the Democratic Party was encouraged by Grande, who shared a photo of the President and his Vice on her Instagram account.
She wrote, “Register to vote,” as the photo’s caption.
Kamala Harris has so far earned more than 25% of the delegates required to clinch the Democratic presidential candidacy, according to The Hill.
In the meantime, Donald Trump, a former president and Republican Party contender, stated that Kamala Harris would be simpler to beat than Joe Biden in the poll in November.
In a Sunday night interview with CNN, Trump praised Biden’s decision to drop out of the presidential contest.
