On Thursday, August 8, gospel singer Tim Godfrey revealed that his luggage went missing after he landed in Cape Town, South Africa, for his scheduled tour.
The award-winning artist took to Instagram to voice his frustration and seek recommendations for stylists from his followers.
Reflecting on the situation, Godfrey suggested that the challenges he’s facing might be due to spiritual opposition related to the blessings he believes are in store for others.
He shared that it had been four days since he left home, and his bags still hadn’t been found.
Tim Godfrey commented:
Kai! Jesus, your son has gone through a lot! And I know the devil is battling because of what you have in store for his people! Four days since I left home… And now they can’t find my bags,”
Wondering what he would wear for his tour, Tim Godfrey affirmed that, despite the setback, he would still perform in Cape Town.
Declaring that “the devil is a liar,” he expressed his belief that everything works out for his good.
The musician added:
“What will I wear for this tour??? No matter what happens!!!! I will be in Cape Town today, ministering to God’s people! The Devil is a liar!!! All things work together for my good!!! Please tag or help me contact any stylist in Cape Town or Joburg to come through,”
In the early hours of Thursday, Tim Godfrey took to Instagram to request his fans’ prayers.
He explained that he had been stranded in Nairobi for four days and needed to reach Cape Town.
The gospel singer also expressed his need for a miracle, thanking his fans and offering prayers for them.
