Speed Darlington, a controversial Nigerian singer, has vowed to take the Nigeria Police to court and secure a N300 million compensation for allegedly violating his human rights.
In a recent video, Speed Darlington recounted his ordeal, stating that he was detained for two months despite being granted bail by a court.
The singer expressed gratitude to his lawyer, Mazi David Ihuoma, for standing by him during his detention. He revealed his determination to pursue justice, saying, “I will stop at nothing to get my N300 million compensation for the violation of my rights.”
Speed Darlington also claimed that his arrest and detention were influenced by “higher powers” involved in his case. He wrote in a caption, “Thank you Mazi David Ihuoma Esq. We going all the way! They must pay me for violating my human right 300 million naira.”
This isn’t the first time Speed Darlington has taken legal action. He previously made headlines for a high-profile case involving a financial institution.
