Nigerian popular singer Patoranking, tragically lost his sister Chioma and her husband, George O. Buchi, in a devastating incident.
Reports from sources such as Gistme9ja and Cutie Juls on Instagram indicate that the couple passed away following a gas explosion at their residence.
Film producer and media personality, Seun Oloketuyi, revealed further details shared by Chioma’s close friend, Uchechi. On the day of the incident, Chioma and George were spending a quiet afternoon at home with their child.
George noticed a strange burning smell and decided to investigate, leaving Chioma resting upstairs.
A sudden explosion occurred, severely injuring George and putting him in a coma, while Chioma was also hurt but managed to alert friends and family. Despite her efforts, Chioma tragically passed away later due to her injuries. Investigations later revealed that neither the gas cylinder nor the inverter battery caused the explosion, dismissing initial speculations.
