Popular on-air personality (OAP) Nedu has finally addressed the controversy surrounding his exit from the Honest Bunch podcast. In a recent press conference, Nedu clarified that he was not fired from the show, but rather chose to step down due to personal attacks and controversies.

The drama began when reality star and comedian DeeOne made some shocking allegations about social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) on the podcast. VDM responded by accusing Nedu of orchestrating the allegations and leaking their private conversations. Things took a darker turn when VDM also accused Nedu of sexual exploitation.
Nedu initially stated that he made the “difficult decision” to step away from the podcast to protect his peace of mind, his family, and the show’s integrity. However, rumors soon spread that he was actually fired due to the controversy.
Setting the record straight, Nedu explained that he chose to step aside because the attacks had become personal. He emphasized that his role as a host was to ask tough questions and spark meaningful conversations, not to engage in personal vendettas.
“For me, any conversation that surrounds you has to stop the guest from saying some things that are not professional,” Nedu said.
