Popular Malome Vector, a rapper from South Africa, perished in an automobile accident.
At the time of the Wednesday night accident in the Free State, Vector was traveling with his musical partners Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala. In a statement on Wednesday night, his former record company, Ambitiouz Entertainment, acknowledged the unfortunate event.
There were two more who were allegedly sent to Boitumelo Regional Hospital due to injuries.
“The sun has set on the Lion of Lesotho, and we lament with sorrowful hearts the loss of a bright beacon.
We send our sincere sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues in the industry during this difficult time of loss.
“Three men were declared dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off close to Kroonstad,” according to a Free State Department of Health report.
