Following a grammatical typo in a tweet, Nigerian artist Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, became a trending topic on the social media platform X.
Recognized for his distinctive fusion of reggae and Afrobeat, the “Leg Over” coroner was praising his colleague Rema’s most recent track, “March Am.”
Although Mr. Eazi meant to tweet the song’s title, he typed “match” rather than “march.”
The vocalist penned:
“I dey match, I dey match,”
“I for tell you say your spelling wrong but who I be?,” the fan wrote.
Fans and followers responded to the mixup with great enthusiasm on the platform following the interaction and the original tweet.
