Well-known Nigerian rapper Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana, has opened up about his worries about marriage.
In an episode of the “Unpack podcast,” Falz revealed that, despite his notoriety in the entertainment business, he had no idea what a happy marriage might entail for him.
Falz, who has been unmarried for a while, admitted that he is hesitant to get married since he isn’t sure what makes a good marriage work.
He underlined how difficult it is for celebrities to have a happy family life while they are constantly watched by the public.
Falz agreed that the decision of whether to maintain a more private or public connection can have an effect on how well a celebrity marriage works out.
“I’m not married. I have been single for a while now Maybe I should just try marriage. I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I don’t know what the ideal setup would look like.
“Being an artiste, being in the public eye, is it going to be public or coded? Or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate. This is one of the biggest reasons entertainers do not get to have healthy family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded,” he said.
