Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has issued a public apology following his release from police custody. His arrest on August 22 stemmed from allegations of defamation against fellow artist Davido, after Dammy Krane accused Davido of involvement in their friend Tagbo’s death and made personal attacks on his character.
Davido’s legal team had demanded a retraction and cessation of further defamatory comments. However, in a surprising turn of events, Davido dropped all charges, leading to Dammy Krane’s release. In a statement, Dammy Krane expressed gratitude and apologized for his actions, bringing closure to the controversy.
