Sandra Iheuwa, the baby mama of Ubi Franklin, has fired back at critics following her comments on Sophia Momodu’s ₦23 million house rent.
Sandra criticized Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of singer Davido, for what she termed as misplaced priorities. During her custody battle with Davido, Sophia had shared a screenshot of her ₦23 million rent receipt for an apartment in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Sandra argued that this expenditure was a misplaced priority, suggesting that Sophia could have used the money to start a lucrative business instead. She emphasized that, as a single mother, Sophia should be more financially prudent.
In defense of Sophia, some netizens claimed she has multiple businesses that justify her affording such a luxurious apartment.
Sandra responded by challenging the notion that paying such a high rent instead of buying a house is a sound financial decision. She reiterated her stance that Sophia’s actions reflect not living within one’s means.
Sandra’s response read: “Mehn….the way some people (especially some women) think cos she paid ₦23 million in rent in an installment that she can afford it. Where did y’all go to school??? ₦23 million on rent, not even towards buying a house.
“Please explain this to me, how that’s a good financial decision? I need to see the multiple businesses being claimed! Cos this is the height of not cutting your coat according to your size.”
Sandra’s comments have sparked a heated debate on social media about financial priorities and the importance of living within one’s means.
