John Tinniswood, recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest man, has passed away at the age of 112.
According to Guinness World Records, Tinniswood died on Monday, November 25th, at a care home in Southport, northwest England. Born in Liverpool on August 26, 1912, Tinniswood became the world’s oldest man in April 2023 after the passing of 114-year-old Venezuelan Juan Vicente Perez.
Tinniswood’s family reported that his final day was filled with music and love, expressing gratitude to those who cared for him throughout his life. Guinness World Records paid tribute to Tinniswood, saying, “We’re saddened to learn of the passing of John Tinniswood, who has died aged 112.”
