Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema took out his time to reveal what prompt him into doing music.
In recent interview with Capital Xtral London, Rema stated that poverty made him venture into music that he’s mum couldn’t afford transport fare and he determined to succeed.
He further said he was tired of seeing he’s mum trekking, she not having money to bus or bike fare made him to decide to take it to the next level but pushing more harder.
“As soon as I started making money, I bought her a car. I handed her that automobile after we had dinner.
Many males would go for their own automobiles before me, but I had to get my mum a car first, so I continued my travel.
