Nigerian singer Portable is in hot water after allegedly assaulting government officials who were on duty at his bar location in Ogun State. According to a popular influencer on X (formerly Twitter), Portable and some area boys attacked the officials, who were from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

The influencer, @man_of_letters, shared a detailed account of the incident, which allegedly occurred when the officials arrived at Portable’s bar to issue a notice of illegal structure. Portable’s father was reportedly present and was informed of the purpose of the officials’ visit.
However, things took a turn for the worse when Portable arrived on the scene with some area boys. They allegedly attacked the officials, who were forced to flee for safety. Portable reportedly chased after them, blocking their path and physically assaulting them.
The officials eventually sought refuge in a nearby petrol station. The police were called, and several individuals suspected of being involved in the assault were arrested. However, Portable is reportedly still at large.
This is not the first time Portable has been involved in controversy. He recently made headlines for attacking his music mentor Olamide and his former signee Asake.
