Music executive Paulo Okoye has asserted that Kizz Daniel is the sole Nigerian artist who could potentially compete with Grammy-winning Burna Boy.
In a conversation with broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, Paulo, widely recognized in the industry, mentioned that while Burna Boy remains unparalleled in the Nigerian music scene, Kizz Daniel has the potential to challenge him if he continues to develop his craft.
Although Burna Boy is often compared to Davido and Wizkid, the show promoter emphasized that Kizz Daniel is the artist who truly has a chance to rival him.
Paulo Okoye stated:
“Kizz Daniel is the only person that I know that can challenge Burna Boy if he puts himself together. I worked with him two years ago. And I know how much he makes. Kizz Daniel made at least $7.5 million from my side. I don’t even know how much he makes from others,”
Paulo Okoye asserted that Burna Boy is the wealthiest Nigerian artist, highlighting that he earned between $70 million and $80 million last year alone.
