Fuji singer Taye Currency has issued a public apology to his boss, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, following a recent comment that sparked controversy.
In a clip circulating online, Taye Currency clarified that his words were misinterpreted. He explained that he previously referred to himself as “Taye Paso” due to similarities in their singing styles.
Taye Currency revealed that Pasuma is his elder brother, not his father, in the fuji music industry hierarchy. He stated, “Egbon mi ni Paso, ko to mi bi” (Pasuma is my elder brother, not my father).
Known for praising Pasuma, Taye Currency has often sung tributes to him, demonstrating loyalty and humility.
