Organizers of BBNaija have announced a reduction in the prize money for the highly anticipated Season 9

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is back for its highly awaited Season 9, but there’s a twist: the prize money has been reduced. The show organizers recently announced that the winner will now take home N100 million and a brand-new SUV, down from last season’s N120 million.

During a press conference on July 17, Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, shared exciting details about this year’s season. Running from July 28 to October 6, the show promises plenty of drama and unique entertainment over 71 days.

What’s New This Season?

This season will shake things up by having housemates compete in pairs, which is set to change the game dynamics significantly. According to Tejumola, viewers can expect an action-packed show filled with fun, emotions, and unexpected twists.

She also added that, There won’t be the usual head-of-house challenges, and fans can look forward to parties and events, including the popular pool and Saturday night parties. Plus, the show will air 24/7, keeping viewers connected to all the happenings inside the house.
