Movie star Nkechi Blessing Sunday has sparked a buzz online with a recent video where she addresses President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Once an avid supporter of Tinubu, even claiming to have had a phone conversation with him, Nkechi Blessing’s allegiance shifted during the 2023 election. She then threw her support behind Peter Obi and the Labour Party.
In a recent video posted on her page, Nkechi Blessing reached out to President Bola Tinubu ahead of the nationwide protest scheduled for August 1, 2024.
The Nollywood star urged the president to address the youth directly, outlining his strategies for reducing food prices. She emphasized that Tinubu should engage with the protesters rather than attempt to prevent their demonstrations.
Nkechi Blessing also suggested that if the president is opposed to the protest, he should reveal his plans to alleviate the burden on the poor by lowering food costs during this difficult time.
