Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has joined the increasing number of Nigerians commenting on the escalating feud between the Psquare siblings Peter, Paul, and Jude Okoye.
Peter Okoye recently accused his twin brother, Paul, of disrespecting his wife and family, asserting sole ownership of their joint music, and undermining his contributions to the group’s success.
The situation intensified when Peter revealed a startling allegation about Northside Music, suggesting it is secretly owned by their older brother Jude and his wife, Ifeoma.
As the drama surrounding this family conflict continues to unfold, Yul Edochie has made a provocative remark that has sparked considerable discussion.
He commented on those urging reconciliation between the brothers, proposing that sometimes the only path to peace might involve maintaining distance even from family members.
He wrote:
“Sometime peace comes from staying apart, sometime even family members have to be blocked to achieve peace. Sometimes you just have to relate with people from distance to have peace”.
His remarks sparked a wave of strong reactions, with many people voicing harsh criticisms and a few offering support. Some critics dismissed Yul as unfit to give advice, pointing to his own contentious separation from his wife, May Edochie, and didn’t shy away from directing scathing and derogatory comments at him.
