A woman has publicly criticized the father of her child and his partner for excluding her son from their family Christmas photos while wearing matching pajamas.Gistme9ja reported earlier that The controversy began when the boy, unlike the rest of the family, was not given matching pajamas and was ultimately left out of the coordinated family photo.
The issue gained attention on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), after being shared on Facebook. The post showed the boy wearing mismatched pajamas, while his father, stepmother, and the stepmother’s child wore coordinated sets.
This apparent oversight sparked a heated exchange online. The boy’s mother expressed her frustration, accusing her ex-partner and his current partner of treating her child unfairly. She wrote:
“If you think this changes anything, you’re just as delusional. LAST MINUTE OR NOT, YOU KNEW THE PICS WERE BOOKED. YOU KNEW HE WAS COMING OVER. WRONG IS WRONG.”
“IF THE SITUATION WERE REVERSED, SHE’D FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY TOO. Y’all see my son with those highwaters and old pajamas, but they got NEW SETS. Goodbye.”
In response, the stepmother defended herself, claiming the boy was not intentionally excluded. She said:
“I didn’t leave him out of anything! And I don’t play this internet game. One thing I don’t tolerate is disrespecting HER child before I had my own! His father couldn’t find matching pajamas, and we already had ours.”
“I also said I didn’t feel right about him not matching, but it was too late because the shoot was minutes away. I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS GOING TO BE IN THE PICTURES.”
“As a mother, I would NEVER leave him out, and I never did. Despite all the insults, I treated him like my own! You can take my kids out of this, and you could have messaged me directly!”
Despite the stepmother’s explanation, the boy’s mother stood firm, insisting that there was no justification for the oversight. The incident has sparked widespread debate online, with many discussing the dynamics of blended families and the importance of inclusivity during the holidays.
