A woman recently shared a harrowing experience she had with highway robbers who forced her to make a heartbreaking choice. The incident occurred at 7:25 a.m. on the Ijaye/Ajala road, where the robbers, armed with guns and knives, threatened her life and demanded that she hand over her valuables.
The lady, who shared her ordeal on social media, explained that she was coerced into choosing between her life and her iPhone, iPad, and other valuable items. She wisely chose to prioritize her life, and the robbers made off with her belongings.
Using her iPad, she was able to track the location of her stolen iPhone, which led her to the Iba Badagry area. She locked the phone remotely and retrieved her Gmail and account information to prevent further unauthorized access.
The lady is now seeking the public’s help in retrieving her stolen phone and important documents. She expressed her gratitude for being alive but is still shaken by the traumatic experience.
Many people have responded to her post, offering words of comfort, advice, and support. Some have suggested that she block her bank accounts and disable the phone from her iCloud to prevent further unauthorized access.
The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of highway robbery and the importance of prioritizing one’s safety above material possessions. The lady’s bravery and quick thinking likely saved her life, and her story may help raise awareness about the need for increased security measures on Nigerian roads.

Any phone stolen at gun point/one chance from Kola – Iyana Ipaja are mostly taken towards this direction. Locking it’s enough!”
