The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has reacted to disturbing video that has been circulating on social media, showing a gospel singer, Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, caught with his girlfriend’s severed head. The FCT police clarify that the incident did not occur in Abuja, but in neighboring Nasarawa state.
According to the FCT police command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, Ajayi was arrested on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The suspect confessed to killing his girlfriend, whom he had dated for a year.
The police have urged the public to ensure accuracy in reporting such incidents to avoid misinformation. The case is currently under investigation.
