Rotimi Salami, a popular Nollywood actor, has finally spoken out about the controversy surrounding his recent film project. The actor was called out by a production manager, who accused him of abandoning the film set without completing his scenes.

Rotimi took to Instagram to share his side of the story, revealing that he had been contacted by his senior colleague, Lekan Olatunji, for the movie project. However, the shoot was rescheduled four times, causing Rotimi to lose patience.
Despite being paid only N100,000 for his appearance, Rotimi arrived on set in Abeokuta at 2:30 pm, after his car broke down and he had to fix it. However, due to delays from the movie crew, Rotimi was unable to wait any longer and left the set.
The production manager then took to social media to accuse Rotimi of abandoning the project, which Rotimi claims is a false narrative. “I am doing this because I need to protect my image,” Rotimi wrote. “Defaming me with such a post and posting my business mobile number for people who know nothing about my transactions to call and bash me does have a fine.”
Rotimi’s fans have come out in support of the actor, praising him for standing up for himself and setting the record straight.
