A Nigerian man living in Turkey has made a heartfelt appeal to Verydarkman, a popular Nigerian activist, and other well-meaning Nigerians to help him return to his home country.

The man, identified as Chinedu from Edo state, has been living in Turkey for three years. However, his life has taken a turn for the worse, and he is now desperate to return to Nigeria.
In a video shared online, Chinedu explained that he traveled to Turkey four years ago, and his first eight months were pleasant. However, things took a turn for the worse after he returned to Nigeria briefly and then came back to Turkey.
Chinedu lamented that his residential permit and passport have expired, leaving him vulnerable to deportation. He is currently without a job and is struggling to make ends meet.
“I need to do my passport, do my residential permit, which everything will cost me about $1,100 (about N1.9 million),” he said. “I’m begging Verydarkman, I’m begging Nigerians, please help me.”
Chinedu’s story has generated buzz online, with many people expressing sympathy for his plight. Some have encouraged him to reach out to the Nigerian embassy in Turkey for assistance, while others have offered words of encouragement.
One user, ochulele, commented, “I understand, it is well, people back home will never understand, e still good make people dey come at least make dem experience change, Europe is all about paper b4 u survive well.”
