Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has come to the defense of Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, claiming they are innocent until proven guilty. This comes after Lil Smart, a former Marlian dancer, accused the duo of orchestrating his abduction and assault.
VDM had initially offered to help Lil Smart with his case, even sending him N1 million to travel to Abuja and pursue the matter in court. However, Lil Smart allegedly ghosted VDM, expressing suspicion about his motives and criticizing his handling of the Mohbad case.
In a new video, VDM reacts to Lil Smart’s betrayal, stating that he will visit Naira Marley and Zinoleesky’s house to show his support. VDM claims that since no one has presented evidence against the duo, they remain innocent until proven guilty.
VDM also bragged about his influence, stating that “nobody can cancel me in Nigeria.” He challenged Lil Smart to produce evidence to support his claims, saying, “Lil Smart, you must bring out your evidence.”
