I’m 70yrs old, I have no husband or children, I hope to get married to a man that loves me
A 70-year-old woman shared that she remains single because she has not found someone she loves wholeheartedly.
She revealed that a significant reason for her single status was her commitment to ensuring her siblings’ education. She believed that marriage would have hindered her ability to support her siblings through school.
“In our family, I remained single because I haven’t found someone I love. When I was younger, many boys were interested in me, but I chose to wait until my siblings graduated before considering marriage. I was responsible for taking care of them, providing everything they needed,” she explained.
Currently, she is still helping some of her relatives with their education. She lives in a house owned by her nephew, whose father passed away leaving behind eight children. She vowed to support these children until they graduated. “I supported the one who owns this house, and now he teaches others. He is glad that his children went to school and graduated from college,” she said.
When asked if she is ready to marry now, she responded, “I did what I had to do. If I find a husband now, I would agree to get married. I sacrificed my life for my siblings, and now I want to get married.”
