Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has addressed accusations of being involved in a cult.
A Twitter user posted a video of Seyi Law at a party, suggesting he is a prominent member of the Eiye cult.
The user also alleged that many people in the SouthWest region have connections to the group.
Seyi Law responded to the allegations by expressing hope that his reaction wouldn’t be seen as oppressive.
He indicated that he plans to take action, potentially including legal steps, against the Twitter user behind the accusations.
“So @seyilaw1 na supreme Eiye member.
Almost everybody na Eiye for SouthWest” the twitter user wrote
Reacting to it, Seyi Law wrote:
“I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression”.
