Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has sparked a heated debate on social media with his recent thoughts on village people and personal growth. In a Facebook post, Yul urged Nigerians to dispel the idea that village people are holding them back from progressing in life.
According to Yul, it’s not the village people who are responsible for holding Nigerians back, but rather themselves. He emphasized that village people are also busy trying to make a living and progress in their own lives.
Yul also encouraged people to explore their traditional roots and learn more about their heritage. He wrote, “Go home, go traditional and ask questions about your life. Know who you are, where you come from and where you should be heading to.”
