Friends and family honored the memories of 600-Level Student whopass away After Being Hit by Car While riding bicycle on Campus
Adzo Akpene Ahadzie lost her life in a bicycle accident on July 9, 2024, while riding to class.
In numerous social media posts, her colleagues remembered her as an intelligent and hardworking individual who was cherished by many.
A representative from the College of Architecture and Built Environment expressed:
“We mourn the untimely passing of Adzo Akpene Ahadzie, a 6th-year Master of Architecture student. Our deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. Although she has left our midst, her spirit and inspiration will forever build the bridges of our dreams.”
Friends from high school also shared their grief, with one writing:
“I’ve been very sad after hearing about this unfortunate incident. Adzo had so much greatness in her. Back in our KNUST SHS days, she was the SRC General Secretary when I was in my first year. She carried an aura of intellect. RIP Adzo.”
Francis Adjartey, an alumnus of the college, mentioned that Adzo was preparing for a mock jury the day after her death.
