Rapper Falz recently became the center of controversy following accusations made by media personality Very Dark Man, who alleged that Falz and his father were paid to help Bobrisky evade justice. The claim quickly gained attention online, leading to public discussions.
While Falz initially responded through legal channels, issuing court documents, he hadn’t spoken publicly on the matter—until a recent interview.
In an interview with Afrobeats Podcast, Falz addressed the ongoing case, offering insight into the legal proceedings. He clarified the situation, saying: “Has this person provided any proof to support these allegations? People also questioned why I didn’t confront Bobrisky directly. Well, I did. I wrote through my counsel, and Bobrisky denied the claims, stating that neither I nor my dad received any payment. These accusations are false. The burden of proof lies with the accuser.”
Falz went on to explain that he has initiated a defamation lawsuit: “I have gone to court for defamation of character because that’s what this is. Proceedings have been initiated, and despite a court ruling for the videos to be taken down, they remain online. In my suit, I will also be seeking damages, as that is the appropriate remedy in a civil case.”
