Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu has delivered a scathing critique of Pastor Jerry Eze and his profitable YouTube prayer platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD).
In an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Esther expressed her concerns candidly. Although she described Eze as personable and charismatic, she questioned the financial motives behind his ministry.
Esther accused the pastor of exploiting his followers for monetary gain and criticized the NSPPD platform, suggesting that the prayers offered are more coincidental than truly miraculous.
In a heartfelt disclosure, Esther recounted her own distressing experience. She revealed that she had sought a miracle through NSPPD to heal her sick mother.
Despite her sincere prayers and genuine belief in the platform, the healing she hoped for did not come to pass.
Esther stated in the interview:
‘Pastor Jerry is making money on social media. Some pastors these days are not real. When we pray, our prayers don’t get answered. If your prayers get answered, it is by coincidence. If Pastor Jerry does not take offerings, he makes money with the data that we use to watch him
“I mean no harm because Pastor Jerry Eze is a cool guy. When my mother was very sick, I was praying NSPPD every morning. When I was looking for a visa, I joined NSPPD every morning. In the end, I was denied a visa. My mother did not heal and the prayers on NSPPD did not work to date.”
