On the HonestBunch podcast with Nedu, Pastor Abel Damina, the founder and president of Abel Damina Ministries International, shared compelling insights into his ministry’s history.
He vividly recalled the significant day in February 1996 when he ordained Pastor Paul Enenche, who is now the General Overseer of Dunamis Church in Abuja.
Damina spoke with fervor about Enenche’s early development, detailing how the future leader was carefully mentored at one of Damina’s church branches in Jos, Plateau State.
He also highlighted the notable figures present at Enenche’s ordination, including Bishop Isaac Idahosa, a prominent Nigerian political figure and vice-presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in 2023, and Panam Percy Paul, a renowned gospel music artist whose presence added a special touch to the ceremony.
Pastor Abel Damina revealed this in reaction to Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, who had not only questioned the validity of Damina’s statements but also insulted him by referring to him as a “rat.”
Damina responded with intense passion to Ibiyeomie’s harsh comments, sparking a strong reaction throughout the religious community and beyond.
