Bishop David Oyedepo’s wife, Pastor Faith Oyedepo, advised individuals not to rush into marriage.
She pushed them to put compatibility first and resist pressure from peers, family, and self-imposed expectations in a widely shared video.
She asserts that a “good match” does not always result from a “good catch.”
According to Pastor Faith Oyedepo, those who marry young frequently come to regret their decision.
Her advice inspired singles to put more effort into forming sincere connections than giving in to peer pressure.
She Said:
“Those of you who are still single, don’t marry under pressure. Don’t manage to marry and don’t hurry to marry. Because those who do end up in regret. You just understand that a really good catch may not make a really good match. You just understand that a really good catch may not make a really good match.”
