Nigerian DJ Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, recently paid a visit to her mother Nana Otedola’s dry cleaning business, Garment Care Ltd, and shared the experience on social media.
In her post, DJ Cuppy noted that her mother founded the company in 1999. Over the past 25 years, it has grown into one of Nigeria’s leading dry cleaning services.
DJ Cuppy praised her mother’s entrepreneurial spirit, mentioning how it serves as a daily source of inspiration for her.
During her visit, DJ Cuppy was impressed by the factory’s operations and even joined her mother’s team in various tasks.
She recognized her mother’s commitment to creating a thriving business and reflected on the value of pursuing similar excellence.
Sharing her experience, she wrote:
“In 1999, my mum founded Garment Care Ltd, and 25 years later, it is now by far the best dry cleaning business in the whole country! As a female CEO, her entrepreneurial spirit inspires me daily, so I decided to visit her factory for some motivation. I was so impressed—her team even put me to work (for free)! Watching you grow this business from its humble beginnings to a renowned establishment has reminded me to always strive for perseverance and excellence in what I do.”
