On Thursday, renowned singer Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, made a courtesy call on Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Alausa office in Ikeja.
The artist posted a video of the visit on Instagram, expressing his appreciation for the honor of meeting Lagos’ top official.
The delegation was escorted to the governor’s office by Idris Olorunnimbe, CEO of Temple Company.
In his post, D’Banj expressed his excitement, writing:
“Today was good, meeting with Mr. Governor, @jidesanwoolu, presenting my upcoming album The Entertainer: D’Sequel.
“It was also an honor to have the Deputy Governor, @drobafemihamzat, present as well. Big shoutout to my brother @siphodlam for joining me.
“As I shared the new tracks, I was reminded of how much Lagos has always been at the heart of my music journey, and I’m grateful for the continued support. The Album is almost here, OooooSHeeeeee.”
