Nigerian singer Davido Adeleke’s widely celebrated wedding song, “Ogechi Remix,” has been taken down from YouTube due to copyright concerns.
The song, which Davido performed live during his extravagant wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024, quickly became a highlight of the year.
“Ogechi Remix,” a collaboration featuring BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel, was released on the day of the wedding and rapidly gained popularity among fans.
The music video, uploaded on July 19, 2024, portrayed Davido’s deep love for his wife, Chioma, through its heartfelt lyrics.
However, recent developments have sparked controversy online. The video for “Ogechi Remix” has been removed from Davido’s YouTube channel due to copyright claims.
Although the audio remains available on BoyPee’s official YouTube page, the video itself is no longer accessible.
Reports suggest that Davido is not credited as the official artist on the song’s YouTube page, adding to the confusion surrounding the issue.
It seems the original version of “Ogechi,” which was remixed by BoyPee and his collaborators, was created by a different artist before the remix.
