Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has denied allegations of abandoning a Kenyan woman, Helen, who claims he is the father of her child.
In an interview on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds, Cubana Chief Priest maintained that the child is not his and that he does not know Helen. He described the entire saga as an attack on his marriage.
“Children are a gift from God, regardless of how they come. I have more than enough to take care of my children, as many as possible, that will come my way,” he said.
Cubana Chief Priest emphasized that he has a beautiful marriage, which is the best thing that has ever happened to him. He believes the allegations are targeted at destroying his marriage.
“I have a beautiful marriage; this is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and if you watch the whole attack, it is on the marriage,” he stated.
When asked if he would have accepted the child if it were his, Cubana Chief Priest replied, “Of course.” However, he added that he would only accept to do a paternity test to prove his innocence if treated with respect.
The businessman stated that the saga has not affected his marriage because he and his wife are not just husband and wife but also business partners and associates who are inseparable.
Cubana Chief Priest claimed that the woman always pops up whenever he has a viral issue, indicating that she has an ulterior motive rather than genuinely seeking the father of her child.
