International Afrobeat star Burna Boy has declared his intention to remain single while weighing in on the custody battle between fellow artist Davido and his baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
This comes amid Davido’s joint custody bid being contested with a counter-affidavit citing negligence that led to the loss of his first son.
Sharing his perspective, Burna Boy highlighted the consequences of ignoring advice in relationships, stating, “Odogwu too wise, who no hear go FEEL.”
A concerned fan urged him to consider marriage and family, given his recent 33rd birthday. The fan noted, “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”
Burna Boy responded by reaffirming his decision to stay single, “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?” However, he expressed admiration for the love life of celebrity couple Adekunle Gold and Simi, adding, “Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros.”
