Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Ijeoma Otabor, better known as Phyna, has explained her reason for supporting activist Very Dark Man over crossdresser Bobrisky, whom she is friends with. Phyna had nominated Very Dark Man to contest as President of the Young Democratic Party (YDP) amidst his saga with Falz, Bobrisky, and EFCC.
She stated that she will boldly and proudly stand by him as she believes a better Nigeria will come through him. Phyna made it known that any year he makes such a decision, she will be standing by. However, her tweet didn’t sit well with one of her fans, who told her to keep silent.
The fan noted that when one has two friends who are having issues, one should be calm or not take a side. The fan also mentioned how Phyna celebrated Bobrisky days back and now is pitching a tent with Very Dark Man. Phyna replied to the fan, making it clear that it isn’t about Bobrisky or Very Dark Man, but about fighting corruption and making the country a better place.
Phyna stated that she stands against corruption and oppression and has the right to talk about whatever is going on, just like other Nigerians.
