Basketmouth has taken a jab at Wizkid following his remarks about Davido and Chioma’s wedding. Wizkid had previously caused a stir online by posting “lol” just hours after Davido shared his pre-wedding photos. He further posted a cryptic message, praying for every understanding woman on earth.
Basketmouth commented on how much attention Davido’s wedding has garnered on social media. He suggested that unless someone uses the #CHIVIDO hashtag to promote their show, it might not be effective, pointing out that even Wizkid’s shade didn’t draw much attention.
In his words: “DAVIDO’S WEDDING HAS TAKEN OVER THE SOCIAL MEDIA SPACE EXCEPT YOU WANT US TO START USING #CHIVIDO2024 TO PROMOTE THE SHOW. WHICH I DON’T THINK WILL WORK…. BECAUSE, EVEN WIZKID WEY THROW SHADE…. NOBODY SEND AM.”
