Seun Kuti, Nigerian Afrobeat star and son of legendary musician Fela Kuti, has publicly clarified his relationship with online activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman.
Seun emphasized that he does not influence Verydarkman’s online presence or control his views, particularly regarding a recent audio call discussing Bobrisky and the EFCC. Apologizing to Femi Falana, Seun expressed disagreement with Verydarkman’s criticism of the senior lawyer.
He explained that Verydarkman acts independently, driven by personal thoughts, and that he was focused on exposing Bobrisky’s alleged EFCC bribe. Seun’s statement aims to establish distance from Verydarkman’s controversial online content.
