Popular Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold has expressed gratitude on social media to rapper Olamide for allowing him to join the YBNL record label.
Olamide established the label in 2012 following the success of “YBNL,” his second studio album.
Conversely, in 2015, Adekunle Gold signed with YBNL and released his debut album, which was named Gold.
Later, after his contract expired, he left the record label. On Friday, Adekunle, however, thanked Olamide for helping to advance his career while uploading a cover of his debut album on X.
“Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family.”
