Months after the tragic death of Nollywood actor Junior Pope in a boat accident, accusations continue to haunt filmmaker Adanma Luke, with fans still blaming her for the incident.
The tragedy, which claimed the lives of Pope and four other crew members, occurred on the River Niger during the filming of “The Other Side of Life.”
Adanma Luke has faced relentless backlash, with some fans going to extreme lengths, including cursing her six-month-old child. Luke recently reached her breaking point, addressing the false accusations and detailing her traumatic experience on her Instagram.
She explained that she was supposed to be on the ill-fated boat but stayed back due to a last-minute task involving a memory card. Luke recounted the harrowing moment she learned about the accident and expressed her grief over the loss of her colleagues, whom she considered family [❞] [❞].
Despite her efforts to help the victims’ families, including providing fuel money, caskets, and ambulances, the accusations have persisted, leading to her emotional outburst.
