Abayomi Michael, who was recently abused by his teacher, Mrs. Stella Nwadigbo, at Christ Mitots school in Lagos State. Following the incident, a private organization, Gidi Real Estate Investment Ltd, has generously offered Abayomi a full scholarship covering his education from primary school to university level.
The scholarship was presented at a ceremony organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, where Commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlende praised Gidi Real Estate Investment Ltd for their kind gesture. Ayorinde Ejioye, Co-founder of the organization, explained that they decided to step in and support Abayomi’s education after learning about the incident.
In addition to the scholarship, Abayomi’s family also received a fully furnished two-bedroom flat, courtesy of Gidi Real Estate Investment Ltd. The organization also provided Abayomi’s mother, Mrs. Nike Okunlaya, a widow, with N1 million to support her family.
