An airport worker named Auwal Ahmed Dankode has returned $10,000 (approximately N16 million) that he found inside a plane while cleaning it in Kano.
Dankode, an employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), came across the money while performing his duties at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
Upon discovering the cash, he promptly reported it to the airline company’s manager, who then began the process of locating the rightful owner.
This act of integrity has drawn significant attention, particularly due to Dankode’s reputation for honesty and strong moral values.
Hailing from Kode in Kano State, Dankode’s actions reflect his deep-rooted fear of God and commitment to doing what is right, even when faced with substantial temptation.
His decision to return the money, despite the challenging economic circumstances many face, serves as an inspiring example of ethical conduct and the importance of integrity in everyday life.
