Abiola Ajibolaoye, a Nigerian teacher, has opened up about his biggest regret in life – marrying late. In a candid video shared on Instagram by @Yomilistens, Abiola shared his frustration and disappointment over the consequences of delaying marriage.

At the age of 40, Abiola tied the knot, but now he wishes he had taken the leap earlier. He revealed that he and his wife have been unable to have children, a reality he attributes to mistakes made in their marriage.
Abiola’s words are laced with a sense of longing and “what ifs.” He acknowledged that while he’s content with his professional life, his personal decisions have been a different story. “If I could go back in time, I would have married early,” he confessed.
“That is one wrong decision I took in life. You can marry and make mistakes. When you make your mistakes early, you can correct them in time and move on with life. But you can’t beat time because it is not our friend. There are things I’m doing now that I should have done years ago.”
Abiola emphasized the importance of timing in personal decisions. He believes that making mistakes early in life allows for correction and growth, but as time passes, reversing those mistakes becomes increasingly difficult.
