Wunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, has publicly called out social media critic Verydarkman for his relentless harassment and defamation. In a strongly worded statement on her Instagram page, Wunmi accused Verydarkman of spreading misinformation about her and her son, Liam, and questioning the child’s paternity.

Wunmi revealed that she had endured Verydarkman’s attacks for nearly two years, but her silence was not a sign of weakness. Instead, she chose to grieve her husband with dignity. She stated that she had recorded her husband during an episode he had after suffering trauma at the hands of some NDLEA officers and that he had apologized.
Addressing the ongoing DNA controversy, Wunmi reiterated her willingness to conduct the test. However, she accused Verydarkman of using Mohbad’s death to gain popularity. She wrote, “Your audacity is appalling. I will no longer respond to you because you are just one of the benefactors of my husband’s death who bullied his immediate family and used his death to gain popularity and fame.”
Wunmi concluded her statement by telling Verydarkman to mind his own business and leave her and her family alone. She also suggested that he question his own paternity if he was genuinely concerned about DNA testing.
