In a recent interview with Debbie Shokoya, Dayo Amusa shared her emotional and challenging journey to becoming a mother. The actress, who welcomed a baby boy last year, spoke candidly about her struggles with infertility and how she gave God an ultimatum to either fulfill his promise or take her life.

Dayo Amusa recounted how she broke down in tears in front of her domestic workers, crying out to God to fulfill his promise. She had undergone several medical checkups and surgeries, and felt like she had reached a breaking point.
“I remember I was singing at the deepest and the top of my voice. I remember I was crying so deeply like I didn’t mind that my maid and domestic workers were around. I was telling God it’s either you take my life at this moment or you fulfill that promise which you have promised me,” she said.
Dayo Amusa’s journey to motherhood was not an easy one. She had faced mockery and criticism online for her inability to have a child, and had even laid curses on those who had mocked her. However, with the birth of her son, she has finally found joy and fulfillment.
The actress expressed gratitude to God for blessing her with a child, and described her son as her “treasure” and “best gift ever.” She also prayed that she and her son’s father would be a living example to him.
