A woman has taken to social media to share a shocking story about how a sermon by her pastor completely changed her husband’s behavior towards her. According to her, the pastor’s words had a profound impact on her husband, and not in a good way.

The woman explained that the pastor had preached about the importance of women being calm and gentle when speaking to their husbands. He advised wives to massage their husbands’ egos when addressing them, and to be mindful of their tone and mood.
However, the woman claims that her husband took the pastor’s words to heart in a very negative way. She alleges that he became more aggressive and dismissive towards her, and even refused to help with their 5-month-old baby.
The woman shared a specific incident where her husband had been holding the baby, but after hearing the pastor’s sermon, he suddenly threw the baby at her and refused to help. She was left to care for the baby and attend to her church duties on her own.
The woman is now considering leaving her church because of the negative impact the pastor’s sermon has had on her marriage. She feels that the pastor’s words have emboldened her husband to behave badly towards her, and she doesn’t want to be a part of a community that promotes such behavior.
Her words “Like my pastor preach today that as a woman you should be calm and gentle when talking to your husband fiance. When you want to state your opinion about things you should watch his mood, caress his ego before you make your opinion if not men should not listen or love their wives.
“My family people ooo immediately my husband heard that statement, he that was holding his 5months old baby that was sleeping threw the child at me and i asked him why? He gave me bad look. Refuse to hold the child let me do my church work, i had to carry the child and attend to first timers all because before we left to church he made a statement and i replied the statement and oga heard pastor said those words and he saw a good ground to show his displeasure even till this evening he still angry.”
