A man has found himself in a rather embarrassing situation after his wife locked him out of the house for being cheated by a plantain seller.
According to the man, his wife had sent him to the market to buy some plantains for her. However, when he returned home with the plantains, his wife was furious to discover that he had paid N8,000 for them – a price she deemed outrageous.
The man explained that he had been cheated by the plantain seller, who had taken advantage of him. However, his wife was having none of it, and she promptly locked him out of the house.
In a video that has gone viral, the man can be seen standing outside his house, holding the plantains and lamenting his situation. He revealed that his wife had told him that the plantains should not have cost more than N4,000.
